Aaron Rodgers is most likely to return to the Pittsburgh Steelers for another season in his NFL career. Many thought that he would retire after the 2025 season, but Rodgers probably wants to give this another shot. He played for Mike Tomlin last season and the Steelers finished with a 10-7 record and won the AFC North crown.

This season, things will be different for Pittsburgh. Mike McCarthy is the new head coach for this team. McCarthy and Rodgers were together when they were on the Green Bay Packers and won a Super Bowl title together during the 2010-2011 season. Rodgers is one of the best quarterbacks to ever play this game.

Bradley Locker of profootballfocus.com wrote about current players in the NFL who could potentially be future hall of famers or not. Locker has Rodgers as a slam dunk hall of famer in the future. He said,
“Assuming Rodgers will indeed return to the Steelers this year, he’s easily the most probable Hall-of-Famer among active NFL players. As a four-time MVP, four-time first-team All-Pro, Super Bowl champion and having earned at least an 83.5 overall PFF grade in 11 career seasons, there’s essentially nothing left to complete.
People may lament some of Rodgers’ inability to get back to the Super Bowl as well as his enigmatic personality, but his blend of talent and production make him one of the best quarterbacks in league history.”
Rodgers is 42 years old. During his career, he has completed 65.1% of his passes for 66,274 yards, 527 touchdowns, and 123 interceptions. His touchdowns to interceptions ratio is insane. Rodgers has also won many MVPs in his career and has only made the Super Bowl once. Even if he returns to the Steelers this season, it will not affect his hall of fame status. Whenever Rodgers decides to retire, he will no doubt be a first ballot hall of famer.
