First-round pick Jordyn Tyson signs contract with the Saints

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - The New Orleans Saints have their No. 1 pick signed on the dotted line right before rookie minicamp begins on Airline Drive.

The No. 8 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft signed a 4-year, $32.5 million contract according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

In his four years of college football at Colorado and Arizona State, Tyson caught 158 passes, 2,282 yards, 22 touchdown receptions.

New Orleans signed seven of their eight draft picks on Friday: Tyson, tight end Oscar Delp, guard Jeremiah Wright, wide receiver Bryce Lance, safety Lorenzo Styles, Jr., wide receiver Barion Brown, and cornerback T.J. Hall.

Only draftee yet to sign his contract with the Black and Gold, second-round draft pick Christen Miller. The defensive lineman played his college football at Georgia.
