Pittsburgh’s opponents have been known since the end of last season and are determined by where teams finish in the standings. Their eight home games will be against:

Baltimore Ravens

Cincinnati Bengals

Cleveland Browns

Atlanta Falcons

Carolina Panthers

Denver Broncos

Houston Texans

Indianapolis Colts

With its nine away games versus:

Baltimore Ravens

Cincinnati Bengals

Cleveland Browns

Jacksonville Jaguars

New England Patriots

New Orleans Saints

Philadelphia Eagles

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Tennessee Titans

The NFL’s continued to expand its international slate and it’s possible the Steelers play overseas for a second-straight year after hosting the first-ever regular season Ireland game in 2025. However, the Jacksonville Jaguars reportedly blocked a potential NFL decision to play its game against the Steelers in London, meaning it will be held in Jacksonville. There’s been little buzz on Pittsburgh playing any other team internationally. Some have speculated the New Orleans Saints, but that will officially be known late next week.

Typically, owner Art Rooney II conducts a short interview with the team website to react to the schedule release.

For the past two seasons, the Steelers and Ravens have waited until late in the year to hold their two matchups. However, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see an early-season matchup between the two rivals given the considerable offseason change both franchises experienced. Pittsburgh has a new head coach, Mike McCarthy, for the first time since 2007. Baltimore has a new head coach, Jesse Minter, for the first time since 2008. An early primetime matchup between both sides feels logical.

The NFL will announce select games ahead of Thursday’s release, which typically is aired at night. Leaks throughout the day are also common. We’ll have a running tab of leaks and info throughout the day and often know the full order before the league’s official announcement.
