It's been a solid career for McManus, who emerged with the Denver Broncos after they traded for him in 2014, after two very short stints with the New York Giants and Indianapolis Colts. He spent nine seasons with the Broncos before they cut him. From there, McManus spent the 2023 season with the Jacksonville Jaguars before coming to Green Bay for the last two seasons.
Packers' fans were ready for a change after McManus struggled throughout the playoffs. The team's decision to draft Trey Smack left the writing on the wall about McManus's future, and was a heavy indicator that he would not return to Green Bay. While Smack will embark on a new career with the Packers, McManus will look for a new team as he attempts to continue his career.
