Breece Hall shares heartfelt message with fans amid $45.75M Jets extension

The New York Jets have had a very active offseason, and it began with their trade of Jermaine Johnson to the Tennessee Titans and the franchise tag being placed on Breece Hall.

With some uncertainty about Hall's status on the roster long-term, the Jets and Hall put a stop to any such rumors or questions as they agreed to a massive $45.75 million extension, according to NFL insider Jordan Schultz.

After this agreement was announced, Hall shared on Twitter/x a heartfelt message with the Jets fanbase and all of his supporters.

Breece Hall shares reaction to $45.75M extension

"Shoutout everyone in my corner. Lot of work left to do. God Bless #JETS," Hall shared on Twitter/x shortly after his extension was announced.

This heartfelt message from Hall comes after a well-deserved payday. He was one on the franchise tag, but this extension will give him a lot more security in the long-term, and keep him around for three more years

Hall is 24 years old and will be 25 on May 31st. He's played four seasons with the Jets since being taken in Round 2 of the 2022 NFL Draft.

While his rookie season wasn't exactly the best, with just 463 yards rushing and four touchdowns, he broke out in 2023 with a 994-yard season with five touchdowns as the starter.

He then posted 876 rushing yards and five TDs in 2024, followed by his first 1,000-yard season with 1,065 rushing yards and four touchdowns in 2025.

But his work doesn't come just as a rusher. He's a great receiver as well. He caught 36 of 48 passes this past season for 350 yards and a touchdown. And in his career overall, he's caught 188 passes for 1,642 yards and nine touchdowns.

He's very deserving of this big extension, as he's one of the most explosive backs in the league, and has been stuck on mediocre to bad offenses his entire career.

After this big new extension was announced, Hall shared a lot of appreciation with his supporters and the Jets fanbase, which he's now more tied to than ever before.
