The San Francisco 49ers on Friday announced the signings of six of their eight draft picks this year, including wide receiver De’Zhaun Stribling, to four-year contracts. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Other players now under contract are running back Kaelon Black, offensive lineman Carver Willis, cornerback Ephesians Prysock, linebacker Jaden Dugger, and offensive lineman Enrique Cruz Jr.
The only players from this year’s 49ers draft class who remain unsigned are defensive linemen Romello Height, a third-round pick, and Gracen Halton, who was taken in the fourth round.
The 49ers have also signed several undrafted free agents, including defensive linemen Bryson Eason (Tennessee), Mikail Kamara (Indiana), and James Thompson Jr. (Illinois), receivers Wesley Grimes (North Carolina State) and Will Pauling (Notre Dame), tight end Khalil Dinkins (Penn State), and safety Jalen Stroman (Notre Dame).
Stribling was taken in the second round, 33rd overall, out of Ole Miss.
In his five-year collegiate career, which included stops at Washington State and Oklahoma State, Stribling had 261 catches for 2,964 yards and 23 touchdowns. He might be needed to contribute immediately after Jauan Jennings agreed to join the Minnesota Vikings on a one-year, $13 million deal, which was announced Thursday.
Friday was the second and final day of the 49ers’ rookie mini-camp at Levi’s Stadium. The team will hold Organized Team Activities from May 27-29, and in early June. The 49ers’ mandatory minicamp will be held June 9-10.
