The New York Jets and Breece Hall have finally put their differences to rest.
During the 2025 NFL season, there were rumblings about the Jets potentially trading Hall. They ultimately turned down offers for the Iowa State product and used the franchise tag on him.
Although there was a rumor earlier this week about Hall receiving a $60 million extension, SNY's Connor Hughes shot that down.
"Looked into the report the Jets offered Breece Hall a four-year, $60 million extension," Hughes said. "Sources on both ends of the negotiation insist that was never on the table. Hall and the Jets would like to get something done. I'd expect them to re-engage soon to try to find common ground. That specific deal, though, was not presented, they say."
Well, Hughes wasn't wrong about Hall and the Jets wanting to get a deal done.
On Friday afternoon, Hall agreed to a three-year deal with the Jets that's worth up to $45.7 million.

Is it the right move for the Jets?
"Big time W by Mougs," a Jets fan commented. "Don't care what people think about Breece he's such a vital part of the Jets offense and extending him instead of letting him play on the tag is huge. Fantastic job by Darren Mougey
"People gonna say overpay but yall dont realize how good he is. Top 8 rb," a second fan said.
"I am forever confused by the Breece Hall and Jets marriage," an NFL fan wrote on X.
"3 win football team giving the most replaceable player in the sport who doesn't even want to be here top 3 money," another Jets fan said in frustration.
Hall has been productive for the Jets since being drafted in 2020, racking up 3,398 rushing yards and 18 touchdowns on 755 carries. He has also hauled in 188 passes for 1,642 yards and nine additional scores.
While an argument can be made the Jets aren't in position to pay a running back top dollar, losing Hall for nothing in 2027 would be quite brutal.
