“Everybody was crying,” Fano brothers reunite in Cleveland

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - The Browns No. 9 pick, Spencer Fano will make the transition to the NFL, alongside a familiar face.

The Browns signed Spencer’s older brother, Logan as an undrafted free agent.

The two said they were always competitive with one another growing up, then at Utah and now will continue to push each other in Cleveland.

After getting drafted, Spencer went back home to Utah to support his brother, Logan as he waited to see if he would get taken by a team. After he went undrafted, he had to wait and see if he’d have a chance to sign as an UDFA.

“I remember being there and he was down to two teams and I was crossing my fingers,” Spencer said. “Just really happy to be here with my brother.”

Once Logan was signed by the Browns, Spencer said the whole family celebrated.

“Everybody was crying,” Spencer said. “Whole family was crying.”
