NFL Draft 2026: 3 Dynasty Fantasy Football Must-Have Players

This is the part of the offseason where fantasy football managers get to fawn over all the new players and the possibilities they bring with their new teams. Dynasty managers are looking to find rookies who can make an immediate impact on their rosters, even more so if they are contenders. While there are plenty of options to pick from in this draft, we’ll be discussing three must-have rookie players that you need on your fantasy football dynasty team to come away with in your upcoming rookie drafts.

NFL Draft 2026: 3 Dynasty Fantasy Football Must-Have Players

Jeremiyah Love feels like an obvious one, but a dynasty manager who is picking at the 1.01 may not part with that spot unless a king’s ransom is sent his way. For the sake of this article, Love is not mentioned outside of this portion (sorry, guys). But don’t worry, even if you aren’t in striking distance of the “Jeremiyah Love sweepstakes”, there are other options that you will want to have on your dynasty rosters this season.

WR Jordyn Tyson, New Orleans Saints

Our first rookie player, who you will want on your dynasty team, is the new New Orleans Saints wide receiver, Jordyn Tyson. The Saints needed to add another weapon to support Tyler Shough’s continued development, and Tyson certainly fits the bill. Now pairing up with Chris Olave at the wide receiver position, Tyson will look to get active right out of the gate as he was selected with the eighth-overall selection in the first round of the draft.

Tyson can be played as a deep-threat and a player who can be used over the middle of the field. In dynasty fantasy football formats, Tyson is being ranked as the second-best wide receiver to come off of the draft boards. That does make drafting him slightly difficult.

If Tyson is on your target list, trading away a valuable player plus your first-round draft pick should be the way to go. For example, if you have Tee Higgins on your roster and the 1.05, that may be enough to move up to get the 1.02 selection and another player from a dynasty manager. If that offer can swing, now you have a clear chance to come away with Jordyn Tyson, as Jeremiyah Love is the consensus 1.01 rookie selection heading into rookie fantasy football draft season.

Dynasty managers also want to come away with Jordyn Tyson because his offense is one of the more “passer-friendly” offenses among the rookie class for wide receivers. The Saints finished sixth in pass attempts last season, and Tyler Shough averaged 7.3 yards per attempt once he became the starter. Shough also threw 39 deep balls over his 11 games during his rookie season, finishing the season with a 25.6% completion rate. Over a 17-game season, that would amount to about 60 deep balls.

Tyson would certainly be able to rack up the fantasy points when being targeted downfield, as he averaged nearly 15 yards per reception in 2024 and 11.7 yards per reception in 2025 (only played in nine games).

RB Jadarian Price, Seattle Seahawks

Another player dynasty fantasy football managers should add to their “must-have” wish list is Seattle Seahawks running back Jadarian Price. While some in the fantasy community are concerned about his lack of usage in the passing game, Price is one of the best pure rushers coming out of the 2026 draft. Price averaged 5.8 yards per attempt or better during his tenure with Notre Dame. Mind you, he was behind top prospect Jeremiyah Love.

Additionally, Price was the only other back drafted in the first-round. Price is a stud running back at 5’11”, 203 lbs., who gets more dangerous every time he touches the ball. With Zach Charbonnet recovering from a late-season torn ACL, Price may have to be the lead back until Charbs can return.

Price is listed as the fifth-best player overall in rookie drafts and the second-best running back coming off the rookie draft boards. If you need a running back, Price may be just what you need to add to your dynasty team. You will likely need a top-five selection to have a chance at getting Price on your roster. There is a chance that Price could slide, however, as a few other wide receivers could attract attention. However, most managers won’t want to take that chance if Price is on your list.

WR K.C. Concepcion, Cleveland Browns

Another highly-regarded wide receiver who has big potential with his new squad, the Cleveland Browns. That wide out is K.C. Concepcion. One of the major attractions to the former Texas A&M receiver is his ability to create separation. His hands are great, and his speed is very good, allowing him to turn even short plays beyond the line of scrimmage into house calls.

Concepcion’s big-play ability was on display in 2025 as he averaged just over 15.1 yards per reception and brought in nine touchdowns. The Browns were looking to add more playmakers to the roster this season. Don’t be surprised if this is a “changing of the guard” for the Browns’ current receiver, Jerry Jeudy. If the Browns decide to trade Jeudy or move on from him in 2027, Concepcion would slide right in as the potential starting wide receiver in Jeudy’s old role.

Concepcion’s fantasy football draft stock ranks him inside the top-five among rookie wide receivers. Concepcion ranks as the sixth-best overall player in rookie drafts, according to Fantasypros.com, and fourth-best receiver. Concepcion’s draft stock (24th overall selection – first-round) makes him an intriguing player to monitor during the offseason. He could be just what Todd Monken needs to elevate the Browns’ passing attack. The sooner Concepcion can see the field, the faster he can pay off for dynasty managers willing to invest in him.

These are some of the better players in the 2026 rookie draft, but that doesn’t mean they are the only ones that can help you gain an edge in your dynasty fantasy football leagues.
