In numerical order, here is the full list of digits for the Patriots’ undrafted free agent signings at the start of rookie minicamp:
With only 92 numbers available — led by Tom Brady’s No. 12, the franchise has retired eight numbers — there are a few double-issues now that the UDFAs have been added to the mix. Those are denoted by either a “w” or a “b” next to the number, signaling white (offense/special teams) or blue (defense).
There are five of those: No. 19 is now worn by both wide receiver Jimmy Kibble and last year’s Mr. Irrelevant, cornerback Kobee Minor; No. 23 is shared by wideout Nick DeGennaro and safety John Saunders Jr; No. 29 by cornerback Channing Canada and wideout Jeremiah Webb Jr; No. 36 by defensive back Kenneth Harris and kicker Andy Borregales; No. 39 by running back Myles Montgomery and cornerback Brandon Crossley.
Together with the team’s nine-player draft class and a deep group of tryouts, the Patriots’ undrafted free agents will participate in rookie minicamp between Friday, May 8, and Sunday, May 10. The session on Saturday afternoon will be open to the media, so make sure to visit Pats Pulpit for a recap.
