Mohamed Salah could be among as many as 14 players sidelined for either Liverpool or Chelsea in their upcoming Premier League fixture.
Ahead of Saturday's match, Arne Slot has received a double injury boost, with Alexander Isak and Giorgi Mamardashvili both expected to feature. Isak sat out last weekend's clash against Manchester United with a knock, while Mamardashvili has recovered from a leg wound suffered against Everton.
Liverpool heads into the fixture looking to cement its position in the Champions League places. The Reds currently sit fourth, six points clear of Bournemouth in sixth. The Premier League's UEFA ranking means the top five will compete in UEFA's premier club competition for the second consecutive season.

Both sides carry fairly lengthy injury lists heading into the encounter, reports the Liverpool Echo.
Here is a look at the players who could be absent for both clubs.
Liverpool
There are doubts surrounding Mohamed Salah's availability, as he is yet to return to training. Alisson Becker finds himself in a similar position, with both players edging closer to a comeback.
"Alisson not yet, doesn't train with us yet but very close to," Slot said. "Mo [has] also not trained with us yet but is also, like Ali, getting very, very, very close to training with us."

Chelsea
Chelsea is also contending with a mounting injury list. Both goalkeeper Robert Sanchez and winger Jesse Derry sustained head injuries during the Blues' defeat to Nottingham Forest, with concussion protocols ruling both players out of the fixture against Liverpool.
Interim manager Calum McFarlane faces particular concerns out wide. "Pedro Neto and [Alejandro] Garnacho are both carrying knocks, and it's unlikely that they will be available," McFarlane said.
