Pittsburgh Steelers fans and other social media users shared their frustrations with the latest contradicting offseason reports with quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

As soon as the situation with Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers appears to get clearer this offseason, it has often become murkier than ever again. That has happened again during the Steelers rookie minicamp weekend.

The 93.7 The Fan’s Morning Show reported Thursday the quarterback was visiting the Steelers this weekend. Radio hosts Adam Crowley, Pat Bostick and Dorin Dickerson added that Rodgers was set to sign his 2026 contract with the team.

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette’s Gerry Dulac and NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport collaborated that report. On Thursday, both Dulac and Rapoport posted on X that Rodgers would visit the Steelers.

However, Steelers insider Mark Kaboly threw a big bucket of cold water on that reporting.

“From everything I can gather, there is no meeting scheduled or expected between Aaron Rodgers and the Steelers,” wrote Kaboly on X. “I’ve reached out to a couple inside the building and nobody has seen him yet.”

The Steelers insider posted that update at 11:54 AM Friday. NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero confirmed Kaboly’s report, adding he wasn’t aware of any scheduled meeting between Rodgers and the team.

As of early Saturday morning, there still hasn’t been any sign of Rodgers in Pittsburgh this weekend.

It likely goes without saying. But Steelers fans on social media Friday afternoon and Saturday morning were not pleased with the latest conflicting Rodgers updates.

@MarkKaboly @ThePoniExpress Dear Aaron Rodgers, You’re not as important as these over the top minute by minute updates indicate. Pittsburgh doesn’t care if you return or not because the franchise is actually better off not paying you $20 million and finishing 4-13 with Rudolph and the young QBs. You showing

WC Fields

@MarkKaboly @ThePoniExpress Clean out his locker and put his junk on the curb. Hey Rooney2, it’s time to move on. Stop striving for mediocrity!

BG

@MarkKaboly @ThePoniExpress This guy is the biggest diva in the history of the NFL. He’s 43 years old and does this shit. Maybe his fake wife came with him too. He also can’t play very well for sustained periods anymore. Just let Mason/Howard start the season

Scot Paine

@MarkKaboly He is probably mad now that it was announced he was coming in.

Shonnie Iris

@MarkKaboly Once a meeting happens in person the Steelers should tell him to F off in person and start Mason.
