Manchester City face Brentford today

Hello and welcome to our live coverage of Manchester City's Premier League game with Brentford at the Etihad.

The Blues are pretty much in must-win territory now, trailing Arsenal by five points at the top of the table with a game in hand.

This weekend feels pivotal with City having the chance to trim that lead to two ahead of the Gunners visiting West Ham on Sunday for a tricky looking game against a side fighting relegation.

Pep Guardiola could welcome Ruben Dias back into the XI while Josko Gvardiol has returned to training although is unlikely to feature. Rodri remains a doubt and is set to miss out having not played since the win over Arsenal last month.

Kick off at the Etihad is 5.30pm and you can follow all the build-up, action, reaction and analysis right here with us in our blog.
