The entire New Orleans Saints' draft class is now signed.
The Saints announced they signed second-round defensive tackle Christen Miller to a four-year contract Saturday, a day after the team had agreed to terms with all seven of their other draft picks.
Miller's signing comes much earlier than last year's second-round pick, when Tyler Shough waited until late July to sign as the two sides went back and forth over the guarantees in the quarterback's contract. Shough's situation fit a trend league-wide as second-round selections last year took longer to sign.
But that trend, which stemmed from negotiations over guarantees, hasn't seemed to linger over to this year, with Miller being the latest second rounder to already get his deal done.
The Saints took Miller with the 42nd overall pick out of Georgia in April. He has not practiced during the team's rookie minicamp, with coach Kellen Moore disclosing that the defensive lineman is dealing with an injury.
