The Denver Broncos have a lot of expectations on them after last season. However, things are looking like they can be even better. With quarterback Bo Nix recovering from ankle surgery and being healthy, this is a chance for the team to be full. They hired offensive coordinator Davis Webb to make the offense even better as well. Wide receiver Marvin Mims Jr discussed how he is ready to take another leap and help the team win the Super Bowl.
“For me, it’s just answering the door when the bell is rung. I feel like I’ve done that pretty well the past three years, but when I get my opportunities, make the most of it. Be a good teammate and assist the team in however many ways they want. This year, the team we have, the roster we have, how far we went last year, we’re all expecting a Super Bowl this year.”
The Denver Broncos made a significant addition to the offense by trading for wide receiver Jaylen Waddle, so the opportunity for improvement is there. Mims has shown flashes in his first three seasons in the NFL as he has 98 catches on 136 targets for 1,202 yards (12.3 yards per reception) with eight receiving touchdowns. With a wide receiver core of Mims, Waddle, Troy Franklin, Courtland Sutton, and Lil’Jordan Humphrey, there is a lot to be excited about with the Denver Broncos offense. It will be intriguing to see how the team looks when the season begins.
