Liverpool and Manchester City could be tempted with the signing of Lens’ Samson Baidoo, whose stock is growing in France.
The centre-back has played 21 times in Ligue 1 this season, featuring close to 2000 minutes in all competitions.
He’s been missing in recent weeks due to a hamstring injury but is now back in the team. He came off the bench against Brest a week ago but recently started against Nice, playing a role in a 1-1 draw.

Baidoo’s future uncertain
TuttoJuve report the centre-back is currently one of the most interesting young players in Europe. While this is an obvious attempt to promote the player, they believe Baidoo’s future at Lens is becoming increasingly uncertain.
He seems likely to leave in the summer, with Juventus trying to step up contacts for his signature. The Italian side view him as one of their main targets for the summer but the task will be far from easy.
Manchester City and Liverpool have been monitoring Baidoo ‘for sometime’, with Inter Milan also interested.
This is likely to result in the youngster’s valuation to increase in the next few months. He’s currently valued at €30m but English clubs’ involvement could result in this increasing..
That will lead to Juve then being on the sidelines, handing Premier League sides an advantage.

Baidoo is currently represented by SportCover, who also represent Juve players Jeremie Boga and Khephren Thuram. The Bianconeri are likely to deal with the entourage in the summer. Boga will be signed permanently and they will attempt to renew Thuram’s contract.
Manchester City and Liverpool could both need centre-backs in the summer too. Both clubs are undergoing a transition and the backline is one of the areas they want to add to.
