Liverpool FC winger Mohamed Salah has shared an adorable picture of his children to social media. The footballer is currently out of action after suffering an injury against Crystal Palace last month.

There were concerns that the 33-year-old forward may have played his last game for the club when he went off in the second half with a suspected hamstring issue. However, the Egypt international is expected to recover in time to feature again before leaving the club at the end of this season. In his personal life, Salah has shared a rare insight this afternoon.

A picture of his daughters was posted to Instagram. He has Makka, who was born in 2014, and Kayan who was born in 2020. A selfie of Makka wearing a Liverpool FC top was shared by the Red and a snap of Kayan painting in the family kitchen was also uploaded.

Away from the pitch, Salah is married to his childhood friend Magi Sadeq. They grew up in the same Egyptian village together. They also went to Mohamed Eyad Al-Tantawi School.

The couple married in 2013, just before Salah moved from Swiss side Basel to Chelsea. Salah's family can be seen regularly at the end of every Liverpool season where he takes them on the pitch after the final game along with the families of his other teammates.

When Salah signed a contract last year, he opened up about his family's happiness and the sense of belonging that has been firmly established.

He said: "They feel at home. They were very happy, Magi and the kids, they were very happy that we're staying another two years. It feels like home so everyone was happy.

"I think Makka [his daughter] was the happiest one in the family, she wanted us to stay. Of course we all wanted to stay, but Makka because her friends are here and the school.

"It was a very good vibe after the moment that I signed. I'm enjoying my life here. I'm enjoying my football. My family also feels at home. We enjoy every moment in the city and every moment in the club."

Fans of Salah reacted to the latest Instagram post. One comment said: "So cute, bless them" and another supporter responded "Love this Mo. Proper daddy daughter time playing the old fashioned way, this brings back many memories for myself what a happy childhood your daughter is having bless her."

Further responses included: "Wish the best for you and your family. Thanks for all the years in red" and "This is precious. You’re the best Mo."

On March 24, 2026, Mohamed Salah released an emotional video on social media confirming that the current 2025/26 campaign will be his final one at Liverpool.

He stated that "the day has come" for his farewell and that he will be moving on after nine seasons with the club.

Although Salah had signed a contract extension in April 2025 that was intended to run until 2027, he reached a mutual agreement with Liverpool to terminate the deal one year early. This arrangement allows him to leave as a free agent in June 2026 as a gesture of "good faith" from the club for his years of service.

In his farewell message, Salah described Liverpool as more than just a football club, calling it a "passion, history, and spirit." He noted that he never imagined how deeply the city and its people would become a part of his life over the last decade.
