It's now six games without a win for Everton as they lead twice at Selhurst Park but failed to see the game out. James Tarkowski put the Blues in front after six minutes. Everton started bright and the Everton captain tapped in from a corner.
Ismaila Sarr levelled for the Eagles as he smashed it home from close range to give Jordan Pickford no chance. Straight after half-time Beto restored Everton's lead with a brilliant finish but with 15 minutes remaining substitute, Jean-Phillipe Mateta rifled home to draw the game level.
In the closing stages it was Oliver Glasner's side who looked destined for a winner as Adam Wharton had an effort which narrowly went wide. This result leaves Everton on 49 points with two games remaining.
Player Ratings
Jordan Pickford - 7
Strong save from Maxence Lacroix, came for punches and showed his strong distribution. The England number one couldn't have done anything with Palace's equaliser and made a comfortable save from Tyrick Mitchell. Pickford's long throw managed to put Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall through on goal.
Jake O'Brien - 5
Struggled at times with the threat of Mitchell and Brennan Johnson. The Irish international struggled going forward and didn't offer anything going forward.
Michael Keane - 5
Keane's poor clearance fell to the path of Sarr who hammered home to get the equaliser. Sarr got in behind Keane following a deep cross from Daichi Kamada which Pickford pushed behind for a corner.
During the build-up for Palace's first goal Strand Larsen beat Keane in the air.
James Tarkowski - 6
Scored the goal to give Everton the lead following a corner he was found unmarked and fired home. Tarkowski's played through Beto early in the second-half who restored Everton's lead. For Crystal Palace's leveller Mateta ran into the space in between Keane and Tarkowski to level it.
Vitali Mykolenko - 6
The left-back put in a strong interception early in the first half, and put it in a good cross which just missed the head of Beto, following a good move from Everton but didn't offer Everton going forward.
Mykolenko was booked in the first-half for a foul on Kamada.
James Garner - 6.5
The 24-year-old was neat and tidy in possession and got in behind and played a low cross which no one was on the receiving end off. Was the first man to get booked following a challenge with Brennan Johnson. The England international had a free-kick which was tipped over but struggled to gain control as Adam Wharton dictated play at times.
Tim Iroegbunam - 6
Had a chance at 1-0 which shot was wayward. Put in a huge sliding tackle which led to an Everton attack. In the first-half the Blues looked dangerous in attacking transitions. Iroegbunam made a key interception from Brennan Johnson as he was running towards Everton's goal. In the second-half the midfielder wasn't effective when Everton counter-attacked.
Merlin Rohl - 6
The midfielder worked hard throughout and showed his pace in transition. Rohl made four progressive carries and showed his physicality at times when attacking down Palace's left-hand side.
Rohl could have tracked Mitchell for Palace's second goal but it was another promising display for the German, who made back-to-back starts for the first time in his Everton career
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall -6
Should have made it 2-0 early on but his tame effort was saved by Henderson in what was a fast counter attack from Everton.
Dewsbury-Hall got himself in dangerous positions and a lot of the play went through him.
The midfielder had a huge chance to give Everton a two lead cushion as he found himself one-on-one but cut back inside instead of shooting.
Iliman Ndiaye -6
Ndiaye was showcasing his flair and was gilding through with ease in the first-half and had a header cleared off the line by Sarr. The 26-year-old had a huge chance to win it as Tyrique George played him in but his effort was tipped over by Henderson.
At times the winger faded in and out of the game.
Beto - 7
The Everton number nine started brightly and was linking up well and using his strength.
At the start of second-half Beto scored Everton's second with a brilliant finish through the legs of Henderson.
Beto showed brilliant desire to get there ahead of Lacroix and drifted inside and outside to find space to fire home. The 28-year-old has now now scored nine goals in the Premier League this season.
Substitutes
Thierno Barry - 4
The Frenchman failed to make an impact when he replaced Beto. The 23-year-old won a few flick-ons but failed to get a clear opportunity.
Tyrique George - 4
The Chelsea loanee went on a dazzling run and put Ndiaye through but it was a quiet cameo for George.
Carlos Alcaraz - N/A
Replaced Dewsbury-Hall in added time and had an effort that deflected behind for a corner.
