Liverpool have had Bradley Barcola on their radar for ‘many months’, according to French reports, and the PSG forward is now ‘becoming increasingly receptive’ to an Anfield transfer.
This season, Barcola has played 1,200 minutes fewer than he did last season, resulting in a significant decrease in attacking output, while his numbers are still admirable.
Last season, the Frenchman recorded a very balanced 21 goals and 21 assists from 3,927 minutes for PSG. From 2,762 minutes this term, Barcola has 12 goals and seven assists.
Amid interest from Liverpool and Arsenal, the chance to play more regularly in the Premier League appears enticing to the 23-year-old attacker.

Liverpool’s interest in Barcola is ‘not new,’ writes Le10Sport‘s Editor-in-Chief Alexis Bernard, with Liverpool now ‘coming back strong’ to sign Barcola. The young French star has been on Liverpool’s radar for years now.
Bernard reports: “In recent days, a new chapter has unfolded with the same key players. On one side, Liverpool are back in the hunt and more insistent than ever on signing Bradley Barcola .
“On the other hand, a player clearly interested in the project proposed by the English club… And facing these two camps, PSG, listening attentively, hasn’t ruled out discussing a transfer if the player expresses a desire to leave.”

Crucially, ‘Barcola is KEEN on Liverpool’
Not only are Liverpool ready to finally act on their interest in Barcola, but the player himself is also ready to make the move to Anfield after a year of stagnation in Paris. Barcola wanted to stay at PSG to try to break into Luis Enrique’s team, but Kvicha Kvaratskhelia is too good to be ousted.
Bernard’s reporting continued: “After much deliberation last summer, Bradley Barcola continues to ponder his future.
“The prospect of joining the English league appeals to him, and the idea of wearing Liverpool ‘s colours even more so. A backup for Luis Enrique, the former Lyon player aspires to a more prominent role and could be tempted by the Liverpool opportunity.
“The Reds’ second attempt to sign him could be the one that seals the deal.”
While a final transfer fee may vary after Liverpool negotiations with PSG take their course, reports suggest that it will cost around £87m (€100m) to sign Barcola.
