Arsenal have taken a huge step toward the Premier League title with a 1-0 win against West Ham United, which restored their five-point lead at the top of the table after late VAR drama.

The Hammers thought they'd scored an injury time equaliser through Callum Wilson, but Pablo was adjudged to have foul goalkeeper David Raya in the build-up to the goal and it was ruled out after a lengthy VAR review.

Avoiding a late scare means Arsenal take an almighty step closer to winning the Premier League title for the first time since the 2003/04 season.

Manchester City's 3-0 win over Brentford saw Pep Guardiola's side claw back vital ground in the race for the title, but Leandro Trossard's goal against the Hammers restored the Gunners' advantage.

City still have a game in hand, but can only finish on a maximum of 83 points if they win all three of their remaining games this season.

For Arteta and Arsenal, they can finish on 85 if they beat already relegated Burnley and Crystal Palace in their final two games.
