Celebrating Mother’s Day on May 10, 2026, Patrick took out his wife at one of his restaurants. Brittany surprised many with an elegant outfit.
She wore a bold red lace dress featuring cutouts and a high neckline, paired with black accessories. According to her Instagram stories, Patrick helped her to button the intricate dress.

Her appearance comes days after she confirmed that she had a lingering wrist injury. She revealed on May 5, 2026, that she had been diagnosed with De Quervain’s tenosynovitis, commonly known as “mother’s wrist”. It involves inflammation of the tendons on the thumb side of the wrist, and is often triggered by repetitive lifting and gripping associated with caring for young children.
Brittany also shared that she had been experiencing pain for approximately a year, initially hoping it would resolve on its own. She has also previously battled postpartum recovery issues, such as a fractured back. Despite her medical problems, she has recently achieved something significant.

Brittany and Patrick recently attended a awards ceremony where she received the inaugural Champion for Change Award from United WE. The award recognizes Brittany’s contributions to women’s economic and civic leadership.
The event took place at CPKC Stadium in Kansas City, which is the home of the Kansas City Current. It is co-owned by Brittany and is the first stadium in the world built specifically for a women’s professional sports team.
