Broncos’ Marvin Mims holds nothing back about Super Bowl 61 goals

After falling in the AFC Championship, the Denver Broncos are looking to go on an even deeper playoff run in 2026. Wide receiver Marvin Mims is ready to do whatever it takes to help the franchise achieve their lofty goals.

Mims' role in the offense is still to be determined. All he knows is to be prepared when his name is called, via Parker Gabriel of the Denver Post.

“For me, it's just answering the door when the bell is rung,” Mims said. “I feel like I've done that pretty well the past three years, but when I get my opportunities, make the most of it. Be a good teammate and assist the team in however many ways they want. This year, the team we have, the roster we have, how far we went last year, we're all expecting a Super Bowl this year.”

The Broncos acquired fellow receiver Jaylen Waddle in a trade with the Miami Dolphins. They still have Courtland Sutton in front of a litany of young pass catchers. Mims will need to prove he can be consistent playmaker to have a fully impactful season on offense, in terms of the box score, in 2026.

He did that in 2024, setting career-highs across the board with 39 grabs for 503 yards and six touchdowns. But Mims' numbers came down in 2025 with 37 catches for 322 yards and one touchdown. With Waddle now in the mix, he'll be battling for catches even more.

When Mims isn't on offense though, he has been a standout special teamer. He was named to the Pro Bowl in both 2024 and 2025 as a return specialist. Even if he isn't catching passes, he'll at least be helping Denver's offense move forward.

The Broncos are entering the 2026 season with sky-high expectations. But if it's up to Mims, all of them will be met.
