SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - Aidan Bouman finished his time as the Coyotes quarterback leading the team to a deep run in the FCS Playoffs
Bouman set the program record for passing yards, completions, and attempts in his time at South Dakota.
But was not selected in the NFL Draft.
Bouman still getting opportunities, as he attended the Minnesota Vikings rookie minicamp on Friday and Saturday.
Although the USD graduate has tried out with other teams like the Green Bay Packers, this was extra special as his father Todd Bouman competed for the Vikes in 2001 and 2002.
Aidan Bouman, USD graduate said, “Yeah it’s an unbelievable opportunity there’s a lot of family history here so it’s definitely really cool to be stepping out here myself. I feel very confident in my abilities, I feel like I got to showcase that today, unbelievable coaching staff here, staff in general everywhere I can’t say enough good things about this organization and I’m beyond blessed that I had an opportunity to come here.”
