Legendary NFL quarterback Tom Brady couldn't resist firing a dig at the Dallas Cowboys when roasting Kevin Hart during a live comedy special that aired on Netflix on Sunday.
Brady faced brutal jokes during The Roast of Tom Brady in 2024, which included digs at his ex-wife, Gisele Bundchen, just one-and-a-half years after their divorce. Hart hosted that Netflix special, and Brady got his own back on Sunday, when he was a surprise guest as the roles reversed.
Hart, a well-known fan of Philadelphia sports teams, was roasted with a child-sized New York Knicks jersey, which aged particularly well as the Knicks swept the 76ers as the show aired. Brady also mocked Hart for his Eagles fandom, but also took a shot at the Cowboys.

As the Eagles won their second Super Bowl championship in 2024, following their first success against a Brady-led New England Patriots a decade ago, the former quarterback didn't call out the franchise. Instead, he focused on Hart's presence during their championship runs.
"It looks like we actually have some real Eagles fans here," Brady said on stage. "Not like Kevin, who only shows up at the big games when the Eagles are playing well.
"You know, Kev, we actually have a name for those people. They're called Cowboys fans."

Brady's shot referenced the Cowboys' lack of presence in big games, as the team hasn't appeared in the Super Bowl since January 1996. Brady didn't enter the NFL until 2000 and retired in 2023 after winning seven Super Bowl championships.
The legendary quarterback also had a perfect 7-0 record against the Cowboys during his career. Those wins ranged from 2003 to 2022, and he averaged 277.9 yards, 2.1 touchdowns, and 0.7 interceptions in those meetings.
Brady's roasts became more severe as he linked his imminent return to Las Vegas with Hart's infamous affair in 2017. "I’m a busy man, but I do have a few words for you before I return to my affairs in Las Vegas," he said.

"Oh, wait, I’m talking about affairs in Las Vegas. Was that off? Not supposed to talk about affairs in Vegas? I think I broke another rule."

Brady then flirted with his wife, Eniko Hart, who stayed with the comedian through the scandal. "I’m too classy to go after your beautiful wife," Brady said. "Or am I?"
The NFL legend has a big year ahead of him as the Las Vegas Raiders are entering a new era with quarterbacks Kirk Cousins and Fernando Mendoza. Brady is a minority owner of the NFL team and has been heavily involved in quarterback recruitment.
Cousins has been signed by the Raiders to a five-year contract worth up to $172 million, with $20 million fully guaranteed. Mendoza won the Heisman Trophy after leading Indiana to an undefeated national championship run and was selected first overall in the 2026 NFL Draft.
