If it wasn’t already clear before the weekend, Liverpool has plenty of work to do in the summer transfer window.
Yet another dismal display saw the Reds held to a 1-1 draw by Chelsea on Saturday, meaning three points are still needed in order to secure Champions League qualification, which will be imperative ahead of a crucial few months.
With Liverpool fans making their frustrations clear at Arne Slot, the Dutchman will need some new faces in his side to freshen things up for next season. The latest reports from France are suggesting he might have just been given the green light for a new winger.

Here is the Liverpool.com verdict on the transfer gossip to emerge around the Reds today.
Bradley Barcola (PSG)
Bradley Barcola is keen on a move to Liverpool, according to French outlet Le10sport.
The Reds are said to be stepping up their interest in the Paris Saint-Germain winger, which has been present over the past 12 months. Although he decided against leaving the European champions last summer, Barcola is now said to be interested in a switch to Anfield.
What's more, it's claimed that PSG hasn't ruled out discussing a transfer if the player decides he wants to leave. The 23-year-old has slipped down the pecking order in Luis Enrique's side, with Desire Doue and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia the preferred wingers.

Liverpool's home and away strips for the 2025/26 season are the first in their new partnership with adidas.

Liverpool.com says: If Barcola is keen, Liverpool should absolutely be looking to see whether a deal can be done. The fact that he's third-choice at PSG tells you all you need to know about just how good their options are in attack.
Of course, he almost certainly won't come cheaply, and there probably isn't a team in Europe in a stronger position to demand big money for their players than PSG. Let's see what comes of this one this summer.
Tino Livramento (Newcastle)
Liverpool is interested in Newcastle full-back Tino Livramento, Ben Jacobs has told the Born 'N Red YouTube channel.
Jacobs has revealed he expects the Magpies to make the 23-year-old available for a transfer this summer. He has already been linked with a move to Manchester City, although this latest claim suggests Liverpool could look to hijack a potential deal.

Contract talks between Livramento and Newcastle are said to have stalled, with his current club wanting around £70 million ($96M) for his services.
Liverpool.com says: It's easy to see why there is so much interest around Livramento. He looks comfortable on either side of a back four, which would no doubt appeal to Liverpool with Andy Robertson leaving.
The problem is his injury record. He has missed so many games this season, resulting in just 26 appearances across all competitions, and considering Conor Bradley already has plenty of his own fitness problems, Liverpool can't really sign another injury-prone right-back.
