With Sunderland suffering their fair share of injury setbacks in the wide areas this season, Le Fee has regularly had to help out on the left flank.
But he's been moved inside into the No.10 role for the last two games and he starred in the weekend draw with Manchester United at the Stadium of Light.
"I think it's his best position," admitted Le Bris.
"This year we've had different problems on both wings and Enzo has had to play in this position.
""He can do that but it's a different set-up. When he's connected with players like Granit [Xhaka] and Noah [Sadiki] he can show his best action."
Le Bris opted to shift Le Fee back inside after deciding Habib Diarra - who was struggling for form - would benefit from a spell out of the side.
And the head coach likes the balance of the Xhaka, Sadiki and Le Fee trio.
"I think our three midfielders were excellent today," he said after Saturday's draw.
"It was key and we are still building this midfield. They have to stay connected because when they play really close to each other their style and ability to be creative is really excellent."

Even when he's been playing on the left this season, Le Fee has been one of Sunderland's best and most consistent players, which has led to inevitable transfer speculation. Liverpool were recently linked, but Le Fee insists he's happy on Wearside and working under a head coach he knows well in Le Bris, who was previously his boss at Lorient.
“I think he gave me a lot since I’m 12 now," said the midfielder.
“I enjoy working under him. It’s always good to hear something like this, but it’s only the media part. I just care about the end of the season. I think we’ve got two big games now, and I’m only focused on the pitch.”
Since he joined Sunderland in January last year, Le Fee has felt the love from supporters.
“I’ve enjoyed a lot of my time here since I came, since the first day," he says.
“I think we’ve got a really good relationship between me and the fans. I think it’s because of them, because I’ve had a really good welcome. Of course, sometimes they can like what I do.
“They say it’s a bit of magic, but they also like it because I fight. I’m small, I’m not a big guy, but I give 100% in every duel. Sometimes I can lose some duels, but I will give 100% every time.
“I think that’s what they like. I think I love this part. Before I wasn't someone who could fight like this, but I knew that if I wanted to be the top player, I needed this part, so I'll keep working on this."
