It was announced on Monday morning by ESPN’s Adam Schefter that the Dallas Cowboys will be facing the Giants in Week 1 of the 2026 NFL season. They both played each other in Week 1 during the 2023 NFL season. Carter saw the announcement on Twitter on the Giants social media team page and responded, “This gonna be a fun year.”

Carter and the Giants defense is going to be a spotlight in primetime on NBC. There will be a national audience watching this game. A lot of people are interested in seeing how Dak Prescott will do against this Giants defensive front. Carter and this team will need to get off to a strong start. There are also a lot of other NFL fans who are interested to see what Jaxson Dart will do for New York this season. If Carter can continue what he did toward the end of the 2025 season, he can no doubt be a breakout player during the 2026 NFL season here.
