Sunderland midfielder Enzo Le Fee admitted he is flattered by reported interest in him from Liverpool.
The 26-year-old is having a good season with the Black Cats, prompting speculation linking him with a move to Liverpool. Le Fee was asked about the reports following Sunderland's draw with Manchester United over the weekend, and while he was flattered by the interest, he said his full focus is currently on on-field matters.
"It’s always good to hear something like this, but it’s only the media part," Le Fee said. "I just care about the end of the season. I think we’ve got two big games now, and I’m only focused on the pitch."

Le Fee spoke positively about his relationship with Sunderland boss Regis Le Bris, who he also worked with while the pair were at French club Lorient together.
“I think he gave me a lot since I’m 12 now," said Le Fee of Le Bris. “I enjoy working under him. I’ve enjoyed a lot of my time here since I came, since the first day."
Le Fee joined Sunderland on loan from Roma in January 2025, and that deal included an obligation for Sunderland to sign the player permanently if it achieved promotion to the Premier League.

Sunderland went up via the playoffs last season, which saw that deal go through, and Le Fee has played an important role in the North East club's impressive first season back in the top flight.
Sunderland effectively secured its Premier League status with its brilliant form during the first half of the season, and is in line for a mid-table finish.
“I think we’ve got a really good relationship between me and the fans," Le Fee said.

"I think it’s because of them, because I’ve had a really good welcome. Of course, sometimes they can like what I do.
“They say it’s a bit of magic, but they also like it because I fight. I’m small, I’m not a big guy, but I give 100 per cent in every duel. Sometimes I can lose some duels, but I will give 100 per cent every time.

“I think that’s what they like. I think I love this part. Before I wasn't someone who could fight like this, but I knew that if I wanted to be the top player, I needed this part, so I'll keep working on this."
