Tom Brady Throws Shade at Cowboys Fans During Kevin Hart Roast

Over two years ago, Tom Brady was at the mercy of various comedians, including Kevin Hart, as he got savagely roasted on Netflix‘s “Roast of Tom Brady.”

Sunday night, Netflix unveiled its latest edition of the event, “The Roast of Kevin Hart,” with the NFL legend participating and getting some revenge on the popular comedian.

Hart is known to be a sports fan and has particularly shown loyalty to the Philadelphia Eagles, the team from his home city.

That gave the seven-time Super Bowl winner, Brady, the perfect setup for a joke in which he didn’t take a shot at the Eagles but rather at one of their division rivals, the Dallas Cowboys.

“We actually have some real Eagles fans here. Not like Kevin, who only shows up at the big games when the Eagles are playing well. We actually have a name for those people. They’re called Cowboys fans,” Brady joked.

Both NFC teams are coming off rough seasons, but the Cowboys failed to reach the NFL Playoffs despite having a slim chance late in their regular season.

They finished second in the division with a 7-9 record behind the Eagles, who were 11-6 and played in the NFC Wild Card Round, where they lost at home to the San Francisco 49ers.

Both teams attempted to add significant young talent in the NFL Draft several weeks ago, with the Eagles picking up wide receiver Makai Lemon and the Cowboys attempting to upgrade their defense.

Dallas selected coveted Ohio State safety Caleb Downs at No. 11, followed by USC edge rusher Malachi Lawrence, both of whom will join their Pro Bowl defensive end, Micah Parsons.

They’ll find out their official schedule for the upcoming season on Thursday, along with the other teams. A few weeks ago, ESPN reported the early odds for winning the Super Bowl, along with projected win totals.

The Cowboys were listed 17th in the Super Bowl odds with an over/under of 9.5 wins for the season. The odds were in favor of the under, suggesting they could have another rough season.

However, there’s a possibility they’ll defy the odds behind Dak Prescott, who is still hungry to reach the championship game and has talented receivers, CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens.

Meanwhile, Brady is enjoying his retirement as an NFL analyst, calling games from the booth and appearing on Fox NFL programs, rather than getting hit on the field.

The G.O.A.T went 7-1 against Dallas during his legendary career, with the only loss coming in 2023 while playing in his final seasons at Tampa Bay. He now has more freedom to talk and joke about teams and players without worrying about getting sacked.

Along with commentary, the 48-year-old is also a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders, who are excited for their future behind recent No. 1 draft pick, Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza.
