It only took one Jacksonville Jaguars rookie minicamp for offensive lineman Jordan White to decide he didn't want to play in the NFL.
The Jaguars announced on Monday that they have placed White on the reserve/retired list, which means he's hanging up his cleats just one day after the conclusion of rookie minicamp.
White, who played his college ball at Vanderbilt, was signed as an undrafted free agent following the 2026 NFL Draft.
Even rookie minicamp can be a harsh wake-up call to young players, who quickly find out just what being an NFL player entails. It appears that might have been the case for Jordan, although we can't say for sure.
Along with placing White on the reserve/retired list, the Jaguars also signed running back Ameer Abdullah, re-signed offensive lineman Sal Wormley, who will be taking White's place on the offseason roster, and waived running back Ja'Quinden Jackson.
Abdullah is the most notable name on the list of transactions for the Jaguars.
An 11-year veteran, Abdullah was a second-round pick of the Detroit Lions all the way back in 2015. At 32 years old, Abdullah will look to find a home for his 12 season after spending 2025 with the Indianapolis Colts.
While he figures to have an uphill climb to make the roster, Abdullah's ability to return kicks gives him an extra avenue to make the cut.
