CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - The NFL confirmed former Cleveland Browns TE David Njoku signed a one-year deal with the Los Angeles Chargers for $8 million.
Njoku also shared his next move on Monday morning in an Instagram post.
The Browns selected Njoku as a first round pick, 29th overall, in the 2017 NFL draft.
He went on to play nine seasons in Cleveland, racking up the most receptions and yards for the Browns this century!
Njoku even played in the 2023 Pro Bowl.

But Monday morning’s announcement from the NFL shouldn’t come as a surprise to Cleveland fans.
In a social media post from earlier this year, Njoku told fans it was time for him to find a new home, through the city of Cleveland will forever be his home.
