The Chicago Bears had a good year in 2025 and showed signs of improvement by having an 11-6 record and winning the NFC North and making it to the second-round of the playoffs. These same Bears fans want to see the Chicago Bulls become relevant once again in the NBA. Entering the NBA Draft Lottery on Sunday, Chicago had a slim chance to get into the Top 4.

The star quarterback on the Bears is Caleb Williams. He is going to be an icon in Chicago sports over the next decade. Well, Chicago sports fans are warming up to the idea about another Caleb being a star in the city of Chicago, Illinois for the next 10-15 years. Wilson is projected to be a Top 4 selection in the 2026 NBA Draft. Bears/Bulls fans want this franchise to draft the Tar Heels freshman star. Y’all haven’t won anything since MJ era, not even a single finals appearance, this is your singular opportunity, don’t mess this up

I’ll take it, we were projected to be the 9th pick

Even if Wilson were to be drafted second or third overall in the 2026 NBA Draft, Chicago is still going to wind up with Darryn Peterson or Cam Boozer fourth overall. A franchise changing player will be on the board for them. The latest game-changing Bulls icon was Derrick Rose when he was drafted number one overall in the 2008 NBA Draft from the Memphis Tigers.
Chicago has not won NBA Championships since the days of Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, and Michael Jordan. If the Bulls do draft Wilson fourth overall, can he be the latest former North Carolina player like Jordan to lead Chicago to championship glory? A lot of Bears/Bulls fans are optimistic about the future of this franchise.
