The Detroit Lions are inching closer to the 2026 NFL draft, but they're already getting criticism about their philosophy for the event.

Following what was an ultimately disappointing result to the 2025 NFL season that saw them finish 9-8 and miss the NFL Playoffs for the first time since 2023, the Detroit Lions will have their sights trained on proving that was an anomaly.

And while their official schedule release hasn’t happened yet, the Lions have confirmed the date and time of what will be their first game overseas since 2015.

The Detroit Lions Officially Have Their Overseas Game Date And Time Set

The Lions, who are playing in Munich, Germany this season, will face their yet to be confirmed opponent on November 15, which will be Week 10 of the upcoming season.

Coverage will begin at 9:30 a.m. ET on Fox.

“The Lions have the date set for their game in Germany,” wrote Detroit sports Insider Brad Galli on X, formerly known as Twitter. “Detroit will play on November 15 in Munich, kicking off their Week 10 game at 9:30 a.m. ET on FOX.”

The news was also confirmed by Fox CEO Lachlan Murdoch.
