As the NFL offseason shifts into spring and summer workouts, training camps and preseason action are right around the corner.
Every NFL team enters the offseason with the same goal: winning the Super Bowl. After an active free agency period and the NFL Draft, all 32 franchises now turn their focus toward competing in 2026.

Of course, only a handful of teams realistically have a shot at hoisting the Lombardi Trophy. As organized team activities (OTAs) and minicamps approach, several franchises have already emerged as early Super Bowl favorites.

Los Angeles Rams
With the highest odds to win the Super Bowl at 12%, the Rams approached this offseason with both the present and future in mind. Los Angeles selected quarterback Ty Simpson with the 13th overall pick and followed it up with several key free-agent additions.

The organization appears committed to preparing Simpson to eventually take over once Matthew Stafford retires. Last season, the Rams came within striking distance of a Super Bowl appearance before falling to the Seattle Seahawks in a thrilling playoff matchup.

Now, Los Angeles looks poised to contend once again in the NFC. The question is whether the Rams made enough moves this offseason to push past the defending Super Bowl champions.

Seattle Seahawks
Speaking of defending champions, the Seahawks enter the season as the second betting favorite to win the Lombardi Trophy. The last franchise to repeat as Super Bowl champions was the Kansas City Chiefs in 2023. Before that, it was the New England Patriots in 2004.
Seattle now faces the difficult task of defending both its NFC West crown and Super Bowl title. While the Rams may currently hold the edge in the odds, games are not won on paper. For now, the Seahawks remain one of the league’s most complete teams heading into the season.

Buffalo Bills
The Bills made several polarizing moves this offseason, including changes involving the coaching staff, trades, and free-agent signings. Still, any team led by superstar quarterback Josh Allen will have a legitimate chance to compete for a championship.
Buffalo’s road to the Super Bowl likely runs through the reigning AFC champion New England Patriots, a familiar divisional rival. To close the gap, the Bills aggressively reshaped parts of their roster in hopes of finally breaking through.
Will this finally be the year Buffalo reaches the promised land?
