Jaguars Star Travis Hunter Buys Wife $500K Gift for Mother’s Day [Photos]

The Jacksonville Jaguars spent much of last season trying to balance expectations around Travis Hunter’s rare two-way skill set. Injuries disrupted that plan early, but the former Heisman Trophy winner still remained one of the league’s biggest conversation starters.

Off the field, the spotlight has not faded either. This weekend, Hunter found another way to grab attention before Jacksonville’s offseason program ramps up again.

Hunter surprised his wife, Leanna Lenee, with a custom Barbie-pink Brabus Mercedes-AMG G63 for Mother’s Day. The luxury SUV reportedly ranges between $400,000 and $1 million. Lenee posted photos of the vehicle on Instagram.

The standard AMG G63 starts around $196,900 before customization. Brabus editions push the price far higher.

That kind of spending is not shocking considering Hunter signed a four-year, $46.65 million rookie contract after Jacksonville selected him with the No. Two overall picks in the 2025 NFL Draft. The deal is fully guaranteed. It immediately placed the two-way star among the NFL’s highest-paid rookies.

The 22-year-old has already developed a reputation for extravagant gifts. Hunter reportedly surprised Lenee with another customized Mercedes-Benz G-Class during the couple’s wedding celebration in May 2025. Sunday’s Mother’s Day gesture continued that trend.

Hunter made seven appearances in his rookie year before getting hurt in the knee and was sidelined since October 30. His stats included 28 receptions for 298 yards and one touchdown. Jacksonville sees Hunter as an integral part of their future, with the 2026 season fast approaching. In March, the organization disclosed that Hunter is anticipated to pass the medical clearance required for organized team activities.

He stays firmly in the spotlight even when he is not lining up at WR or cornerback. Between the massive contract, the celebrity-level attention, and now another headline-grabbing luxury purchase, the former Colorado star continues building one of football’s most recognizable young brands.

For now, the Jaguars likely care about one thing above all else: getting their franchise playmaker healthy for Week One.
