The NFL offseason has featured plenty of shocks and drama — and not just in the form of trades, draft picks, and free-agent signings.
Several notable scandals and concerning developments have emerged throughout the offseason, and another situation has now drawn attention to a Philadelphia Eagles offensive tackle.

Reports have surfaced alleging that Fred Johnson abandoned his pregnant partner and began a new life on a dating app. The allegations paint a troubling picture for the former Super Bowl champion.

Johnson’s ex-girlfriend, Alyssa Okada, took to social media to detail the events that allegedly unfolded. She first accused Johnson of forcing her out of the home they shared.

“If a man were to kick out his eight-month pregnant girlfriend and unborn daughter,” Okada wrote in what she described as a “game of hypotheticals” post.
She later accused Johnson of joining a dating app and warned women who may be communicating with him.

“You would not think that that type of man is a good man or good father. You would probably not think that that type of man has integrity, or morals or any form of decency, right?” she said of Johnson.

“Furthermore, hypothetically, if these women were to be aware of the fact that this man has an eight-month pregnant, now ex-girlfriend and child on the way and still decide they want to speak to and have fun with him, hypothetically, you would think that kind of woman also has no absolutely respect for herself, no integrity no morals and no decency.”

Okada made clear that she is eight months pregnant with Johnson’s daughter. While the circumstances that led to the situation remain unclear, Okada later shared a follow-up post.
In that post, she suggested she fell in love with a different version of Johnson. She claimed he is no longer the same man. Johnson appeared to respond to the allegations through a series of Instagram Stories posts.
“The hardest flex isn’t revenge,” Johnson said. “It’s watching someone who tried to destroy you realize you survived without ever mentioning their name.”
The full story remains unclear, but the allegations against Johnson are serious and disturbing. The situation also raises additional concern given that Okada is carrying his daughter.
