Bills disrespected in latest roster rankings?

Every season, it feels like the Buffalo Bills enter it as one of the favorites for the Super Bowl, yet they never firmly grasp that title.

Now, entering a new era with Joe Brady, the Bills have had an offseason that, you could argue, has them in good shape to make a genuine fist of it in the fight for a Super Bowl.

We know Josh Allen is the driving force behind anything the Bills do well, but what about the roster as a whole that Brandon Beane has constructed?

For NFL.com's Eric Edholm, in his list of the top 10 teams with the most complete rosters, he has Buffalo at No. 5, with the Baltimore Ravens (No. 4), Philadelphia Eagles (3), Seattle Seahawks (No. 2), and the Los Angeles Rams (No. 1) ahead of them.

“Last season showed that the Bills remain dangerous and talented, even if they're still a flawed operation,” Edholm writes. “Less balanced and concern-free than others on the list, Buffalo counters with Josh Allen, James Cook, Gregory Rousseau and a potent group of top-end players who offset any holes the roster might have.”

Do the Bills have the 5th-best NFL roster?

Offensively, you could make the case that Allen, along with James Cook, Dalton Kincaid, Khalil Shakir, and D.J. Moore, is a potent group.

Defense has been the issue, especially in the playoffs (although Allen played a role in the loss to Denver).

With Jim Leonhard now as DC, how will the Bills' defense look?

The signing of Bradley Chubb could be a shrewd move, and the Bills will be counting on their veterans in Greg Rousseau, Ed Oliver, rookies, and younger players to step up.

On paper, this is a team that can win the Super Bowl if they play up to its potential. But that's a big if.
