The Indianapolis Colts agreed that young quarterback Anthony Richardson could seek a move away if the right trade partner was found.
But it wasn't, and in truth, there are reports that there weren't that many suitors for Richardson either, which tells us a lot.
No one wanted to take a flyer on him to see what they could get out of the young prospect.
And for Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer, he's given his thoughts on Richardson's current situation, and it doesn't bode well, at least in the short-term, for Anthony.
"I don’t have a ton of hope for Anthony Richardson Sr., if we’re being honest," Breer wrote. "But I do think remaining with the Colts for now does create an opportunity he wouldn’t have elsewhere to get first-team reps as Daniel Jones makes his way back from Achilles surgery."

Richardson to remain a Colt?
Right now, it does feel that way, and as Breer wrote, he's getting starter reps with Daniel Jones rehabbing his injured Achilles.
Where else in the league would Richardson get starting reps? Likely nowhere.
So, for now, his best bet is to bide his time and to work on his craft in the off chance he gets an opportunity to showcase his improvement.
But as far as other teams being interested in him, right now, it appears to be silence, which tells us all we need to know.
A top prospect, now having no suitors. That's the brutal reality of NFL football.
