It's final. After months of uncertainty and trade rumors, the New York Jets quelled all the rumors about Breece Hall potentially leaving by signing him to a new deal. Hall signed a three-year deal worth $43.5 million to stay with the team for the immediate future. New York will at least have one of their best offensive players back on the field, giving them some semblance of hope for the year.
Hall made a statement after signing his new contract, expressing his excitement about the new deal. The Jets running back is also pumped up to play next season.
“I'm grateful for the opportunity to continue my career with the Jets,” Hall said in his statement, per Eric Allen. “Through it all, this organization and our fanbase have continued to believe in me. This is where I want to be. I believe in what we're building, and I'm appreciative of Woody, Darren, and AG for their continued trust in me. Let's get to work.”

Head coach Aaron Glenn also said that he has campaigned for Hall to stay with the Jets, and that he's excited to work with the Pro Bowl running back again.
“I've said all along I wanted Breece to be here,” Glenn said. “He's a good football player that can help us win games. He has shown the ability to consistently make plays and have real impact on the outcome of games. We're excited to keep him here as we continue to build a team that can compete each week.”
Through four seasons with the Jets, Hall has already cemented himself as a key piece of the Jets' future. He has amassed 5,040 scrimmage yards, showcasing his ability as both a traditional running back and a pass-catcher from the backfield. True to his dual-threat ability, Hall also has 18 rushing touchdowns and nine receiving touchdowns. His best ability is his availability, too: he's played in 16 games in each of the last two seasons, missing just one game.
