The New England Patriots are expected to trade for A.J. Brown in the coming weeks, and a new report further confirms that belief.
Rumors of the Patriots trading for Brown have been circulating all offseason. However, after the Patriots signed Romeo Doubs, it seemed like they were done thinking about Brown. However, earlier this month, Adam Schefter reported that the Patriots trading for Brown after June 1 is likely.
The Patriots proceeded not to draft any wide receivers and the Philadelphia Eagles traded for Dontavion Wicks and traded up to draft a wide receiver in the first round. All signs were already pointing to Brown joining the Patriots, and now a report from Jim Murray reveals that Brown is looking at condos in Seaport.
"Per Source: AJ Brown will be speaking with management at one of the big, fancy condo developments in the Seaport this week regarding residency," wrote Murray. "I was asked to omit which specific one."
Seaport is not far from Gillette Stadium, so it's easy to put two and two together. For months, fans and experts have suspected that Brown is going to reunite with Mike Vrabel and join the Patriots. Now, more and more information is coming out linking the two parties.
