Liverpool fans will be looking forward to the end of the season, and Arne Slot sounds as though he’s just as keen for the summer to arrive.
The Reds’ dismal season is now just two games away from finally finishing, although Slot and his players still have Champions League qualification to wrap up before thoughts can turn to the transfer window.
The Liverpool boss is clearly already thinking about it though, and having promised after the draw with Chelsea that his team will “100 percent” be different next season, plans may already be in place as the club looks to identify Mohamed Salah’s replacement.

Here is the Liverpool.com verdict on the transfer gossip to emerge around the Reds today.
Yan Diomande (RB Leipzig) and Bradley Barcola (PSG)
Liverpool has assessed both Yan Diomande and Bradley Barcola as it looks at signing a new winger in the summer, according to The Times.
Salah will of course be leaving Anfield at the end of the campaign, and Federico Chiesa also looks likely for an exit. With Hugo Ekitike set to miss the start of next season through injury, the Reds will likely have to find one or two new forward options.
As such, both Diomande and Barcola have been linked, and both appear to be on Liverpool’s radar. Recent reports have indicated that the latter could be keen on a move to Merseyside, having slipped down the pecking order at Paris Saint-Germain.
Bradley Barcola

Liverpool.com says: Expect plenty more speculation on Diomande and Barcola over the coming months. The former will almost certainly get a big move either this year or in 2027, while the latter might be eyeing up more game time elsewhere.
Either would be good options for Liverpool. Barcola is the more experienced option, but Diomande has been sensational in his first season in the Bundesliga. The Reds would have to be willing to spend big if they want one of them though.
Francisco Trincao (Sporting CP)
Liverpool has taken “concrete steps” to sign Sporting CP winger Francisco Trincao, according to Caught Offside.
The 26-year-old is claimed to be attracting interest from the Reds and Chelsea, while reports have indicated he has a €60 million ($71M) release clause in his contract.
The former Barcelona star has 12 goals and 18 assists from 51 appearances for Sporting this season, and is said to be seen as a versatile attacking option who could play on the right or centrally for Liverpool.

Especially so for a 26-year-old who has already had a spell at one of Europe's top clubs, not to mention a year in the Premier League at Wolves. Neither of those moves will have convinced Liverpool that he's the right man to replace Salah, so we can't see this one happening.
