Reliance on player to push for Liverpool transfer–Entourage have scheduled meeting with Reds

Juventus are not giving up on Liverpool’s Alisson and are now relying on the player to secure a summer deal.

The Brazilian’s current deal now runs out in 2027, which makes him an appealing target for the Old Lady. Luciano Spalletti managed the goalkeeper during their time together at AS Roma, with the Italian keen on a reunion.

Sport Witness have covered how the Italian media have appeared confident about a move. They feel the player has opened up to a transfer to Turin, even if dealing with Liverpool might not be too easy.

Discussions have also been held with Alisson’s entourage, who can play a vital role in the move.

Today’sTuttoSport provides a detailed account of the deal, as the two clubs will negotiate soon.

Alisson keen on Turin

The newspaper believe Alisson took his time to assess Juve as a destination. He realised that he’s achieved his childhood dreams with Liverpool and feels an exit can be considered.

The Brazilian has an excellent relationship with the Reds and wouldn’t force a transfer. At the same time, he feels they would respect his decision to leave instead of forcing him to stay.

He has now decided that he only wants Juve. Spalletti’s presence in Turin is very important to him, as Alisson can play regularly for the Bianconeri. That may not be possible on Merseyside, as evident fromGiorgi Mamardashvili’s rise this season.

Entourage pushing for transfer

Further, Juve have given a mandate to Alisson’s entourage to schedule talks with Liverpool soon. This is making the Old Lady optimistic about a move, as the 33-year-old will then be able to express his demands to Arne Slot’s side during negotiations.

The Reds are expected to demandbetween €15m and €20m but Juve depend on Alisson’s desire for a move to reduce that valuation.

An agreement over personal terms is nearly in place. The veteran has been offered a three-year deal worth €5m per season, after tax, which appears good enough for him.

Our take: Financial package could be massive

Considering all the finances involved, Juve may have to pay around €30m for the goalkeeper. This includes the signing-on bonuses and possible commissions to Alisson’s entourage.

This could cause problems in a deal, with the British press appearing less confident about the player’s intentions.

That is probably why Juve already have alternatives in mind. They wouldn’t want to waste too much time and risk missing out on targets like David De Gea.
