Estevao Willian will miss the 2026 World Cup with Brazil after missing out on their preliminary squad through injury.
The winger hobbled off for Chelsea in their 1-0 defeat to Manchester United last month with a hamstring issue.

Former Blues head coach Liam Rosenior revealed, at the time, that the 19-year-old was 'devastated' and 'crying at half-time'.
Estevao has not played for Chelsea since then and interim head coach Calum McFarlane confirmed he won't play the rest of this season.
He said: "Estevao, unfortunately, won't play for us (again) this season, he's going to be out for a little bit of time."
The starlet will therefore miss the FA Cup final on Saturday afternoon against Manchester City, live on talkSPORT.

However, Estevao has been dealt another blow with his omission from the 55-man preliminary Brazil squad for the World Cup, as per ESPN.
Brazilian news outlet ge.globo reported that he chose not to undergo surgery and instead travel to his home country for treatment.
It has also been claimed that he has also suffered a slight setback in his recovery.
Estevao made seven appearances and scored one goal in their qualifying campaign, but won't be involved in the finals this summer.
Only 26 of the 55 players named in their provisional squad will travel to the World Cup.
They are set to be announced on May 18 at the Museum of Tomorrow in Rio de Janeiro.

Super start for a superstar
Chelsea announced the signing of Estevao from Palmeiras in June 2024, although he didn't officially join the club until last summer.
He arrived at Stamford Bridge as one of the most exciting prospects in world football, a title that he has sustained since his arrival.
Estevao, who was nicknamed 'Little Messi' in Brazil, scored eight goals and assisted another four in 36 appearances during his debut season.
The teenager has had numerous highlights in a Chelsea shirt, which include his last-minute winner against Liverpool in October.
A month later, Estevao scored a fantastic solo goal in their 3-0 win over Barcelona in the Champions League.

Estevao also netted against Hull City and Port Vale in the FA Cup, and will earn a winners' medal should Chelsea beat City in the final.
Who will Brazil play at the World Cup?
Record five-time world champions Brazil were drawn in Group C for this summer's tournament.
They will face Morocco, Haiti and Scotland for a place in the knockout stages, with a top-two finish sending them into the last 32.

Should they win their group, then Brazil will play the runner-up in Group F, which will be one of Netherlands, Japan, Sweden and Tunisia.
A second-place finish would see them up against the Group F winner.
