**Joe Gomez admits that his Liverpool future is clouded in uncertainty.**
Gomez is the longest-serving current player at Anfield and enters his 12th season with the club this summer, having won eight major honours since arriving in 2015.
The versatile defender has struggled with injuries during his time with the Reds but has made 21 appearances in all competitions to date in the current campaign.
However Gomez is approaching the final 12 months of his existing deal and will be free to discuss a pre-contract agreement with non-English clubs from January.
He would become the four defensive stalwart to exit the Premier League champions in three years following Joel Matip, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson.

The 28-year-old conceded that he does not know where his future will lie beyond next season but will continue to cherish his decade-long spell with Liverpool.
“I think anything can happen. I don’t know is the honest answer,” said Gomez.
“I’ve only got a year left so I don’t know but whatever is meant to be will be, I guess.
“But I’m so grateful to have had this time here at this club. I’ll always be grateful to have had 11 years at a place like this.
“All I can do is be thankful and we’ll see.”
