Real Madrid legend and World Cup winner spotted at Wycombe's Adams Park

Roberto Carlos, who won the competition with Brazil back in 2002, was photographed at the home of Wycombe Wanderers in the evening of May 12, as he witnessed his old side, Real Madrid, take on Borussia Dortmund in the Premier League International Cup Final.

The Chairboys were asked to host the showpiece between the two U21 sides, which attracted a crowd of 2,014 spectators who saw the next generation of European talent in action.

The evening, as well as this year’s edition of the tournament, belonged to the side from Germany, as Taycan Etcibasi’s strike in the sixth minute was all that separated the two sides.

Carlos, who enjoyed 11 successful years with Los Blancos between 1996 and 2007, watched on as the club’s Director of Institutional Relations and global ambassador, alongside and Santiago Solari, Madrid’s Director of Football.

For Borussia Dortmund, their representative was club legend, Lars Ricken.
