Mo Salah and Andy Robertson hold farewell dinner with Slot and Hughes

Mo Salah and Andy Robertson were spotted along with Arne Slot and Richard Hughes at what was a joint farewell dinner in the city centre.

With the trip to Aston Villa still a few days away, a private dinner was held at Bacaro, a high-end Italian restaurant in the city centre that has previously hosted club events.

Salah and Robertson were both spotted heading into the restaurant on Tuesday evening, with Slot, Hughes, Giovanni van Bronckhorst and Ruben Peeters also among those in attendance.

From the images and videos posted online, it appears that only Salah, Robertson, members of the coaching staff, and the hierarchy enjoyed dinner together.

To be a fly on the wall for those conversations!

It was, therefore, not a full squad event, which will likely still be to come ahead of Salah and Robertson bidding a final farewell after nine years at Liverpool.

Once the dinner had concluded, they all made a quick exit via private vehicles after their location had been spread on social media, with fans lined up outside Bacaro.

With players and coaches predominantly living outside of Merseyside, it was a welcome sight to see them embrace and enjoy an establishment in the city.

It remains to be seen how involved Salah and Robertson will be in the final two games of the season, especially with the former yet to make a comeback from a hamstring injury.

The No. 11 and the club both declared he will feature again, but it is uncertain if he can play any part at Villa Park on Friday evening ahead of the final match against Brentford next Sunday.

Robertson, meanwhile, has started three of the last four games and will be hopeful of at least being named in the starting lineup on his final Anfield bow.

The duo are the headline names departing this summer, but there could be several more to join them in the weeks and months to come, with Alisson also linked to an exit.
