Rodri and Abdukodir Khusanov are both "better" according to Pep Guardiola, and could return to the squad against Palace.

The Eagles have endured a difficult campaign in the league, but have reached the Europa Conference Final and the manager is expecting a difficult challenge on Wednesday evening.

“Always it’s been a tough game, since Roy Hodgson especially and now Oliver,” he said at Tuesday's press conference.

“They have reach a final, a European final. Maybe they struggled a little bit in the Premier League with a lot of changes.

“The manager is leaving, they announced it a long time ago. Maybe they are not consistent but the quality is there. The patterns are there.”

City won their last home game against Palace 5-2, with Kevin De Bruyne, Omar Marmoush, Mateo Kovacic, James McAtee and Nico O'Reilly netting for the Blues. Overall City have won 40 of the 75 games played against the Eagles, with 17 draws and 18 defeats.
