Making the case for each city hoping to host Georgia-Florida State in 2028

All signs point to Georgia facing Florida State in 2028. The only question at this point is where.

On3's Brett McMurphy reported on Tuesday that Florida State athletic director Mike Alford said the Bulldogs and the Seminoles will face off in a neutral-site game in 2028. Alford added that seven cities — Atlanta, Charlotte, Miami, Nashville, New Orleans, Orlando, and Tampa — are in the running for the game.

Alford's comments come roughly a week after the home-and-home series for 2027-28 was canceled. The FSU announcement of the series cancellation included a quote from Alford that stated, "We are now discussing playing a future neutral-site contest, and we are optimistic we will get that done."

It remains to be seen when the two schools will agree to a location and when that choice will be announced. In the meantime, let's make the case for each of the seven cities in the running:
