Alisson is described as being in “advanced negotiations” to leave Liverpool this summer, ahead of the Brazilian’s anticipated return to the side.
Reports from Alisson‘s native Brazil, via the reliable Globo Esporte, claim the goalkeeper is “in advanced negotiations” to leave the club for Juventus this summer.
There has been growing speculation surrounding Alisson‘s future, despite the club triggering a one-year extension on his deal earlier this year.
The agreement protects the 33-year-old’s value this summer, with Liverpool able to demand a fee instead of allowing him to become the third player to leave on a free transfer.
Alisson was previously claimed to be open to the return to Italy but was “not agitating to leave unless it suits all parties.”
It remains to be seen if an agreement will be struck, but all the signs currently point to Giorgi Mamardashvili being promoted to Liverpool’s No. 1, leading to links to various options for a new No. 2.

If an exit does eventuate, Alisson has at most two games left as a Liverpool player, but he is currently sidelined with a hamstring injury.
Arne Slot will offer an update on his availability against Aston Villa in his pre-match press conference on Thursday (9am BST), but Globo Esporte say he is “close to returning.”
The report states Brazil’s football confederation is “closely monitoring the situation” and are “hoping that Alisson will be included in the squad” on Friday evening.
Journalist Cahe Mota reports Alisson is named in Brazil’s preliminary World Cup squad ahead of Carlo Ancelotti’s announcement, with confidence the hamstring issue will not drag on further.
Alisson has missed the last nine games, adding to his previous 10 games missed due to a combination of illness and injury this season.
Liverpool can secure Champions League football with a win against Aston Villa, which Alisson could aid if fit to replace Mamardashvili after his return over the weekend.
