Nigeria-eligible forwards Andre Harriman-Annous and Rio Ngumoha were honoured at the Premier League Youth Development Conference and Academy Awards Dinner held at Wembley on Tuesday.
Harriman-Annous was named Arsenal's Premier League Scholar of the Year, while Ngumoha claimed Liverpool' s Scholar of the Year award.
The Hale End Academy graduate signed his first professional contract with Arsenal last summer, a reward for his impressive performances across the club’s youth ranks.
Following a breakthrough 2024-25 campaign in which he scored 18 goals in 37 appearances, Harriman-Annous earned an invitation to train with Arsenal's first team ahead of the current season and travelled with the senior squad to La Manga.
The youngster was subsequently included in seven matchday squads for official competitions this term, making his debuts in the Carabao Cup and UEFA Champions League against Brighton & Hove Albion and Slavia Prague respectively.
Ngumoha enjoyed a memorable evening after scooping two awards at the Premier League Youth Development Conference and Academy Awards Dinner, winning the Premier League Home Grown Debutant of the Season prize and Liverpool's Scholar of the Year honour.
The Liverpool number 73 has made 17 Premier League appearances this season, scoring twice.
His strike against Fulham last month saw him become Liverpool's youngest-ever scorer in a league match at Anfield at the age of 17 years and 225 days, surpassing the previous record held by Raheem Sterling.
